We, the Youth Mercy Associates of the Sisters of Mercy … commit ourselves to working together for the needs of people in this country and overseas.

In the spirit of Catherine McAuley, we will service God’s people with Mercy and Compassion.

We promise to support each other through friendship, prayer and regular meetings. We will try to live up to our Motto and Mission Statement so that we grow together in faith, hope and love.

Dear Lord, I come before you today to listen and respond to your call. With an open heart I renew my commitment as a Youth Mercy Associate:

To grow in personal prayer, to serve you and your people, and to live out the Mission Statement of the Youth Mercy Associates.

In a spirit of faith, I seek with the Sisters to share the gifts you have given me and to discover how your loving compassion touches other lives. I dedicate myself to furthering the mission of Mercy in today’s world.

Glory to God whose power working in me can do more than I ask or imagine.
